There was  unusual happy tumult at Mets Masriq secondary school, the 100th anniversary of talented poet Hamo Sahyan’s was celebrated there. The event started with the lively recitation :«Your spring comes in Armenian…». There were selected the digests of the emotional poems of the Poet.  

     The pupils were reciting through the soft music watching the poet through the video film where the poet looked sometimes thoughtful and doleful ,  sometimes dreamy, poetic. During the event  the songs by Sahyan’s words were sung.

    Sahyan’s breath was felt by the hall, the environment was friendly, unbending, inspiring.

Even the school principal A. Hakobyan read Sahyan’s creations. Sahyan’s  best relative, friend poet Vladimir Abrahamyan was present there and told memoirs of Sahyan and recited his poems dedicated to Sahyan. The head specialist of Education Department T. Ohanyan who thanked all  the participants was also present at the event.

 Both on the lips of the pupils and teachers were Sahyan’s poems.

Participants were listening the poems with pleasure and took a piece of Sahyan’s creation with them.
