THE MAY VICTORIES AT METS MASRIK SECONDARY SCHOOL

 

   May is a symbolic month  in our public  history.From  Avarayr to  Artsakh war, from Sardarapat until the liberation of Shushi.  May leads us to  the new struggles, victories, reaching new heights. The events organized at Mets Masrik secondary school were dedicated to May victories.

  It was distinctive for a number of guests, among them there were G. Badalyan the head of Education, Culture and Sports Department in R. Gegharqunik, Vardenis Military Lieutenant Colonel G. Arakelyan, The regional  school principals, teachers, parents and community representatives.   

A.Hakobyan the school principal had an opening speech mentioning the end of the Armenian Great Patriotic War, the capture of Shushi and Artsakh army formation that had historical importance for us.

Then the pupils wearing military cloths went on the platform of decorated stage and presented Artsakh war and its heroes by quotations and songs.

  By the military exercises participants reaffirmed their commitment to our country’s peace, to keep it free and independent.

 The episodes of  screened video film that were commented by the military leader once more gave a chance for the audiences to feel the  intrepidity of our soldiers, the feelings that they had at that time.

  The attitude of the participants, indeed, proved that either boys or girls are soldiers.

 The organizers were the military leader R. Barsegyan and ed. Works organizer m. Khloyan.

  The results of the work were more than satisfactory.

  The matinee finished with great optimism of future by reciting ̎ Sasuntsi Davit ̎ poem, then everybody began to dance showing our greatness of soul, the spirit of ready for fighting.

  The whole hall was dancing and the participants, and the audience, and teachers, whose dance was amazing.

 Vardenis military leader G. Araqelyan thanked them and mentioned that tomorrow's days of our lives are in reliable hands, that the pupils’ patriotic education was in high level at schhol.
